Buffet Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions for our buffets

Presentation

Buffets are presented on attractive disposable style platters and bowls and are laid upon linen style
disposable banqueting roll table covering.
delivery (within a 15 mile radius) is included in the price waitress service & chef are available at additional cost.
Set up, lay out & display is not included.
Disposable Nakpins, Plates & Cutlery are not included, but are available for a pre arranged fee.
We request that all items are WASHED & DRIED and delivered back to this address, together with baskets
(and any other ancillary items, where applicable) any time within 24 hours of the function.
Although all items are sterilised upon return, we would be grateful if all items could be returned
to us in a clean condition. Unfortunately, replacement charges will have to be made for any
platters, baskets etc. not returned. All finger buffets will be presented on disposable foil
platters and foam bowls which do not need to be returned.
China , cutlery and any other equipment can be hire directly form le frog catering.

Menu Variations

In the likely event of the produce required being unavailable, we reserve the right to alter

the menu accordingly to ensure that our usual high standards are maintained. However, every

effort will be made to minimise any variations.

Payment

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking the function. The balance is

required 21 days prior to the event and receipts will be given. No reminders will be sent when

balances are due. Any functions booked at short notice i.e. less than 14 days prior to the function,

the total amount would be payable at the time of the booking.

In any circumstances where balances have not been settled, unfortunately, the function will be deemed to have been cancelled (unless by prior arrangement).

Prices are based on 25 covers. The minimum number of covers at any time is 25 for finger buffets and 25 for fork buffets.

Food Disposal

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the recommended consumption time is observed

and any leftover food is properly disposed of in accordance with your local authority and not consumed at a later stage.

We can dispose of any of your food waste and packaging in accordance with safer food for better business code of practice for a pre-agreed fee.

Food left exposed in less than ideal conditions for a prolonged period of time could pose a health risk.

Client responsibility

1.It is the client responsibility to provide le frog with all the essential storage, refrigeration and cooking requirement for le frog to be able to perform their duty in accordance with the local health authority.

1.2 Fridge & Freezers must be clean, hygienic and sanitised with fully functioning readable temperature control system.

1.3 All work surfaces must be cleaned, hygienic and sanitised with no chips, or damage.

1.4 Oven and hob must be cleaned and fully operational.

1.5 The state of the kitchen and equipment must be assessed along with a written inventory in the presence of Le Frog prior to the start of the contract.

1.6 In the absence of the above le frog will not be liable for any loss, damages, or hygiene issues that may occur by the end of the contract.

2.In the eventuality that the kitchen may not to the health and safety requirement, reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of no less than £50.00.

3.In the eventuality of Le Frog services being used in a commercial manner, when the client sale for a profit any of the products & Services.

3.1 All product liability, health & Hygiene, waste disposal and cleaning is the sole responsibility of the client.

3.2 It is the client responsibility to ensure that the premises used are registered with the local authority as a food business

4. the client or one of this representative must be present upon delivery of the buffet at the agreed delivery time.

4.1 In the eventuality that no one is present upon delivery Le frog catering shall not be liable for the quality or freshness of the produces after We have vacated the premises.

4.2 If the client is disatified with the quality of the buffet the client must inform the delivery driver upon delivery & be issued with a resufal sheet.

4.3 If the client fail to inform the driver we will assume that the client has accepted the delivery.
