Whilst still in a pandemic, albeit with vaccinations and testing in place to protect us, it is understandable that not everyone will want to spend it in a crowded place. Our New Year’s Eve Party Menu
Our menu consists of eight different courses. The evening will begin in an informal nature, with an assortment of canapes served as your guests arrive, along with a glass of sparkling wine to get everyone in the holiday spirit. You will enjoy a selection of eight different dishes, including duck, Foie Gras, beef tartare, shortbread, parmesan crumble, frogs’ legs, crab, and lobster, setting the evening as a night of luxury and indulgence. You will then drink down a kind of lentil and paprika soup, before enjoying flambeed scallops, with a local Devon cream sauce. To cleanse your palette, you will then have a crisp apple sorbet, before a main course of baked Devon red beef fillet in pastry. You will have the option of a cheeseboard before a speciality praline dish. The evening will be rounded off with four small desserts, including macaroons, financiers and pomponettes, home-made chocolate truffles, lemon and lime squares.

What’s Included in Private Chef Hire
Our private chef, Mikael Perret, was born in Brittany, and has trained in some of France’s most established restaurants. He has over twenty-five years of industry experience. His speciality is combining the best of British ingredients with his French influences, passed down the family, with his grandmother being a head chef, and his grandfather a local baker. Our private chef hire for New Year’s Eve is available from £750. You should have a minimum of ten party guests, costing £75 per person. As part of our service, in addition to the chef and the menu itself, we include the delivery, service, cutlery and crockery. We take care of all the washing up and cleaning after the meal, so you can simply enjoy the party and pay attention to all your guests.
