Private Chef Covid-19 Protocol & Services

As the government has released its new guidelines relating to the easing of the  restrictions on the lockdown & the relaunch Of the Hospitality industry, Le Frog is preparing to resume its private Chef service starting from July the 1st

Nonetheless we are committed to playing our part in following the strict guidelines set out by the authorities, we all have our part to play. It is for those reasons that our service may resume if the following conditions are met:

Events will be held with members of the same Bubble or Family Group

  • From the 1st of July to the 8th of July we can cater for party of up to 6 guests only
  • From the 9th of July 2020 we will be able to cater for parties of 30 guests maximum.

As we already Operate a booking only basis, collect your data upon booking, as well a food pre-order & have a event record sheet for each event no further measures will be required.

All Chefs & Front of House Staff are issued with their own PPE ( Face masks/face shields/ gloves/ individual Portable Hand sanitizer)
When possible we will try to avoid the regular “Full table service”, but rather leave dishes in a predetermined location with the client, who will collect the plates themselves, when this is not possible we will observed the 1 meter safe distancing measure.

Staying is the New Going Out

At all times, Chefs, Front of house staff and guests will be required to keep as much distance between themselves as Possible.

Kitchen area & Dining room must be free of any personal items & food, as well as any used or soiled crockery & cooking implements, all surfaces must be cleaned & sanitized.

There will be no access to the kitchen for any of the guests for the full duration of the event.

Sit down meals will be limited to a maximum of 2 hrs with team arrival 1hr prior to sanitize, set up the event & departure 30 to 40 mins after the event giving sufficient time for cleaning & disinfection.

Buffet or Help yourself stall tables will be limited to 1hr.

We will not offer any Drink service or Glassware hire unless beverages have been supplied by ourselves.

No table linen will be supplied other than disposable.

All cutlery & crockery when hired will be delivered sanitized & cling filmed having quarantined for 72hrs Prior to the event.

Table will laid no earlier than 1hr before the meal.

All work surfaces & Points of contact will be sanitized on regular basis ( 2/3 times a hour)

These conditions will need to be respected indefinitely and until further notice from the government.

We believe it to be a step in the right direction.

We will be communicating the above guidelines to all of our clients, and will require them to be as vigilant as we are.

We have conducted a Comprehensive Covid-19 Protocol Risk assessment to keep our guests safe as well as our team.

Home Delivery:

From the 1st of July we will also be offering our Home delivery Meals, Patisserie & Viennoiseries along side our Private Chef & Event Catering.

Although we will be reducing the range of produce on offer in order to be able to make it work alongside our main operation & will introduce a weekly daily special to spice up the offering.

Delivery days will be Fridays & Saturday Mornings. ( special delivery can be arranged week days dependent or order size)

We are hoping to develop this new service into a permanent year round feature.

Cookery Classes:

We have teamed up with Larkslive to offer interactive online cookery classes on a weekly basis & are working on a 4 week schedule for our up & coming Classes.

The class is help on zoom live from our kitchen to yours at the cost of £ 15.00 per screen.

You are sent the ingredient list & equipment required in advance, once the class is finished you receive the full recipe.
